Welcome back to TalkBarca. We are going to talk about Xavi Recovers From Corona Virus. The former FC Barcelona legend and current Al Saad coach was tested positive for the coronavirus a few days ago. He is now recovered and he posted on his Instagram that he is back at home with his family. Xavi’s recovery process took less time than normal and I think that is a great thing. I hope everyone who is suffering from this virus recovers from it and returns to his home safely. My prayers reach out to everyone in the world for this.
XAVI RECOVERS FROM CORONA VIRUS
Let’s get back to the topic. The former FC Barcelona midfielder uploaded a picture on his Insta in which he was holding his daughter. He told everyone that he has recovered from the virus. Furthermore, he was thanking everyone for sending kind messages and prayers. I think holding his daughter inside the picture also showed that he is actually recovered now. Otherwise, he would not have risked holding his daughter while still being affected by the virus. However, this topic is a bit more than just Xavi recovering from the virus. I want to talk more about something.
Xavi is also being considered as a replacement to Quique Setien and this is what I really want to discuss at the moment. Xavi can return to his beloved club as a coach if Barcelona decides to get rid of Quique Setien. In clear words, Quique Setien can still be sacked if things do not go well against Napoli. Barcelona is the clear favorites to win against Napoli at the Camp Nou. However, there is going to be no crowd in that game that can strip off a lot of the mental pressure from the visitors.
I hope Barcelona wins, but if they do not, it is very likely that Setien is going to be sacked. There are 2 or 3 potential replacements for Setien and Xavi is one of them. I have my views about this. First of all, I think that Barcelona should not sack Setien even if they fail to win against Napoli. I think we need to give Setien time till preseason and the start of the next season to see what he can do with the team. If not, then I still think that Barcelona should consider any other senior coach.
I mean no disrespect to Xavi neither do I think of him as a noob. What I meant by senior coach is that someone who already has some experience in Europe and knows how to pick up a team like FC Barcelona. Next season is going to really crucial if Barcelona gets knocked out by Napoli in this season. Therefore, these are just my thoughts and there is going to be a lot to discuss on the managers later on.
Make sure you stay tuned for that and drop down your feedback on this current news.
Until the next time guys, VISCA EL BARCA!
