Welcome back to TalkBarca. Our topic for today is Luis Suarez’s transfer to Inter Miami. There are a lot of rumors and transfer gossips in the news lately. We are keeping an eye on each and every one of the news so that we can bring you all the latest stuff happening at the club. We are currently not predicting which transfers are very likely to happen and which are not. Our prime focus right now is to cover all the news. Speaking of news, we have a big one! This time we are going to talk about Luis Suarez.
LUIS SUAREZ TO INTER MIAMI
Luis Suarez has gained a lot of interest from the American club, Inter Miami. It looks like David Beckham is interested to sign the current Barcelona striker. We are going to talk later if Suarez can fit into that league or not. However, it is important to address that his contract with Barcelona is going to expire in 2021. There is a special clause which says that if Luis plays around 60% of the games next season then his contract his automatically going to extend till 2022. So what do we predict about this?
Reports claim that Suarez is personally interested to stay at Barcelona until 2022. He has spent a lot of time in Spain at the current club. Furthermore, Suarez is not performing at his best lately. However, he is still considered as one of the main players in the team. This shows that Suarez holds has domination inside the club and his seniority is visible. This is not something negative. As a matter of fact, this is because he has stayed at the club for a lot of time. Luis Suarez is still one of the greatest goal scorers in Barca history.
There is little doubt if Suarez becomes a flop in the American league. I think football in Spain is much faster and demanding than in the US. Suarez is going to take a while and then we can expect him to score a lot of goals. However, I wonder if this offer would still be valid if Suarez decides to stay at Barca until 2022. The Uruguayan is currently 33 years old and he is going to turn 35 by 2022. His fitness is still a questionable aspect of his game. Is he going to be fit enough at 35?
Anyway, this is it from the article guys. I felt like sharing this small news with you because it looked pretty exciting to me. Currently, I do not think that we need to take this seriously because there are many other areas where the club needs to focus first. I think Suarez has already done his job for Barcelona and it is not going to matter a lot even if he leaves for a comparatively smaller league. However, the fans do expect him to deliver in the upcoming Champions League games. Therefore, he needs to focus there first.
