Welcome back to TalkBarca. Our topic for today is the Match Review of Levante vs FC Barcelona. Ronald Koemann and his men went away to face Levante. The job was to win the game and bring home 3 points. However, the Blaugranas could not get it done. The game in which FC Barcelona had all the momentum and the upper hand resulted in a draw.
Ronald Araujo got injured, and Barca dropped points once again due to their mistakes. The La Liga title seems much more difficult now as other title contenders, Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid are in much better form than us.
FC Barcelona had a lot at stake in this game. The team should have been more responsible in this encounter. Lionel Messi and Frenkie De Jong missed goals earlier in the game. Even though both of them scored later in the game, it did not mean that their missed opportunities did no harm. Ousmane Dembele scored a very beautiful game. Perhaps, the Blaugranas thought that his goal won them all 3 points.
However, no one can explain how FC Barcelona can concede 2 quick goals and later an equalizer in a game in which winning meant so much to them. All our big names did not deliver up to the expectations. All in all, it was a very disappointing night for the fans and maybe for the players too. However, the fans can complain that their players were not responsible enough and I do not think that our players can provide any logical explanation of what happened out there.
The La Liga title is very difficult to win now. FC Barcelona needs to sit and pray for miracles to happen if they want to win the title this season.
