The home side started the game with full intensity and wanted to go all out on their opponents right from the get-go. Ronald Koemann kept almost similar tactics that he used to win the game against Sevilla at the weekend in their La Liga fixture. The intention was clear that Barcelona was in this game to win it all costs. Sevilla looked confident as well. However, FC Barcelona proved to be too good for them.
The Blaugranas were very attentive to all the minor or major aspects of their game. They kept the ball since the start of the game and made Sevilla desperate for possession. The team was playing as a single unit from the front to the back. Every player was playing his part and tried his best to be as involved as possible.

The team kept troubling the opposition defense.

Grizzy passed it to Dembele. Dembele patiently waited for the right moment and crossed the ball to Jordi Alba. However, Alba was very unlucky not the find the net.
