FC Barcelona was the in-form team and proved to be better than Huesca once again this season. The Blaugrana are in the best form of the season and they proved it with their gameplay against the visiting side. Huesca was already in the relegation zone. However, they are in an even worse position after this defeat.
FC Barcelona headed into this game in order to extend their winning record in the league. The team is now in 2nd place with 59 points whereas Atletico Madrid is at the 1st position with 63 points. Therefore, the title race is on and this victory is going to help FC Barcelona a lot.
Overall, it was an amazing day for Ronald Koemann and his men.

FC BARCELONA VS HUESCA MATCH REVIEW
FIRST HALF
The Blaugranas started this game with a high tempo. The players were in the zone and in the right frame of mind in order to play good football. Therefore, they started the game on a higher note. The energy levels were very high and the home side began rotating the ball around quickly right from the get-go. It did not take them long to register the first goal of the game. It was Sergio Busquests who set up Lionel Messi with a quick through ball which sent Lionel clear in front of goal. Messi finished the ball right in the top corner and got the first goal for his team.
The first goal came around the 13th minute of the game and it was evident that more goals were to come from this FC Barcelona team. Huesca was very focused on defending. However, despite their courageous efforts, they were not able to make any impact. The drop-down in their confidence levels after conceding the first goals was very visible. However, FC Barcelona kept dominating. FC Barcelona scored its second goal around the 35th minute. It was Antoine Griezmann who scored this time for his team. Antoine showed his class with an amazing shot right in the top corner. It is always an amazing sight to see Griezmann landing on the scoresheet. He has a true passion for the badge and it shows in his gameplay.
Everything was going for FC Barcelona. However, they could not end the first half with a clean sheet. Barca gave away a penalty at the 45th minute of the game. Rafa Mir from Huesca converted the penalty from the spot and gave his side a slight hope of a comeback. The first half ended without an FC Barcelona clean sheet. However, the players still put up an amazing display of football. Ronald Koemann seemed like a very satisfied man as his team went inside the tunnel.
SECOND HALF
FC Barcelona started the second half with the same style as they did in the first half. They did not go easy on the visiting side. The team was in great touch and they showed it. Every player was in form and it was visible that the team was having a good time out there. Huesca was in a very difficult position the entire game as they did not have a lot of ball possession and were not able to create any impact either. They were more focused to defend and prevent FC Barcelona to score any other goal. However, this was not the right way to approach this game. Maybe, Huesca would have given a tough time to Koemann’s team if they adopted a more attacking approach.
Anyway, nothing was going their way and FC Barcelona enjoyed every minute of this game. FC Barcelona was flawless in their gameplay. The third goal of the game came around the 53rd minute. It was Oscar Mingueza who scored his first goal for his team, FC Barcelona. Messi assisted Oscar with a cross and Oscar founded the back of the net perfectly.
Huesca was out of the game by this time and FC Barcelona confirmed three points for itself. However, it was still not enough for the Blaugranas. They kept pushing as if they wanted to extract more out of this win. Therefore, the team was able to get another goal, the fourth of the game. It was Lionel Messi who scored this goal. Messi got two goals from this game and assisted one as well. The fourth game came around the 90th minute and it was the perfect way to put an end to this game.
Lionel Messi was amazing in this game. His form is going to benefit FC Barcelona a lot and the team needs him to stay fit in order to be alive in the title race.
The fans have high hopes from their team now. The team must live up to the expectations.
