The introduction of Oscar Mingueza and then the Lenglet-Araujo partnership gave a lot of good hopes for a strong defense. However, since Araujo got injured the defense became shaky again. It is very clear for Koemann or any senior official at the club that the majority of the work is needed on the defensive side of FC Barcelona’s game. However, Barcelona has improved as an overall unit and the gameplay has upgraded as well.

FC Barcelona is dealing with defensive issues as well as injury crises. Ronald Koemann needs to show his character as a manager at this tough phase and get his team out of this with winning ways. The team needs to lift themselves up mentally and now focus on the league title. A comeback against PSG is still not impossible, however that should not be the primary focus at the moment.
Barcelona is going to play its natural style of play and beat Cadiz with ball possession. Cadiz has troubled FC Barcelona previously in this season as well. Therefore, they know how to hurt the home side. Therefore, the team is going to win if it plays with composure and shows character. Lionel Messi is in form and so is Antoine Griezmann. The midfield needs to click as well. Frenkie De Jong and Sergio Busquests did not perform against PSG. However, this applies to the entire team. The team needs to forget that and play a similar style of football as they were playing before the game against PSG.
